Oh hey! Just some fun facts about me for the #meettheartist prompt. ✨

It’s was really difficult to decide what to include. If you don’t know much about me, these are a few of my favorite things. ✨

I am from the state shaped like a mitten. I moved to Chicago in 1999 to go to art school. I started freelancing 11 years ago. I have illustrated over 12 picture books. And I love teaching illustration workshops.✨ But my favorite thing in the whole wide world is my daughter, Hazel, who just turned 7 on Friday! ✨
